Milagros
are the small silver charms that the Mexicans pin
to images of the Virgin Mary and Saints. A fisherman
may pin a silver fish to a Saint and pray for a good
catch. Milagros translates from Spanish as Miracle.
We are often greeted by friends we haven’t seen for
a while with “Que milagro”.
Milagros works with independent
makers and small workshops to create quality hand
made products, combining both traditional techniques
with contemporary design. All our products
are sourced in Mexico.
Our shop is found in London’s East End, next to
Columbia Road flower market. We are open on Sundays
from 9am to 3pm or by appointment.
